International Fencing Club Foundation

Where every fencer counts

International Fencing Club Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to providing high quality Olympic style fencing training to underserved kids from Boston and surrounding neighborhood areas. Your generous donation will support young athletes, reduce the financial burden of training, and inspire local communities to participate in physical activity.

Our foundation is looking to create positive changes in the community through the sport of fencing by addressing social issues, promoting inclusivity, and supporting youth development.  We want to have a lasting impact on individuals’ lives.

Students who engage in sports also acquire virtues and positive attributes such as team work, self-discipline, increased self–esteem, hard work and determination. Sports also create a good platform for athletes to get educational scholarship to achieve their career goals.

Those who are physically active tend to have better grades, school attendance, cognitive performance, and classroom behaviors. Higher physical activity and physical fitness levels are associated with improved cognitive performance among students.

Together with Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, we help introduced fencing to the youth of the City of Boston.  We encourage kids to be active, and help participants develop new skills through drills, open fencing, and other activities.  We hosted a fencing clinic for about 50 to 60 kids on Sunday, September 24 at Almont Park in Mattapan.
